Leak - Driver's side steering.

I know this is a common problem for our Zs. When this thing happens do they replace the entire rack and pinion or can they just fix the seals? At what point do they replace?

Lots of views but no feedback. Anyone? Rebuilt racks are just under $400. New ones cost about 1k. Are the seals fixable or is it a simple tightening.

Try some power steering stop leak first. I've used the Lucas brand on my truck and it stopped it from leaking.

A leak like this is not a big issue. Just keep an eye on the PS reservoir every oil change.
