GTR motor swap
 

So me and a friend were browsing the net and we found a low mileage Gtr motor with an ecu and wiring harness for 18k. How expensive would this swap be?

18k or 1800? There is a massive thread about this already, im sure cooltoy will provide a link asap.

Yeah, please link me. 18,000 dollars for the motor, I'm just curious what the cost would be.

Thats not a cost effective swap unless you had tons of money to throw at it just to be different. imo

Your better off doing a LS swap or simply going FI.

For $18k, couldn't one be making more power with a Fast Intentions kit and less hassle?

A shop is selling the stock block record holding fast intentions kit, including install and tuning, for $16k right now in the classifieds

I have a build already. I was just curious. I'm doing the bp kit

I'm thinking the Juke-R was $600,000...

They were .7 from tieing .8 whp from breaking the world record. But def a lot of damn power

This sounds like a fun and interesting project but,this swap is not cost effective at all. If you do take on this project plan on investing more into this project than you think you will be. FI or a engine swap sounds like a better route to take.
