6 spd Shift rod Pin removal

Doing a z34 6spd conversion to my Z32.

is there a walk through on how to remove the shift rod? or is it call the strike rod?

Striking rod
Pull the top cover, remove detent nuts, springs and detent pins from side, remove pin in striking rod lever and slide out the back.
