Dash Command Settings , 2010 Nismo, MT
I have searched throughout this website for settings for those working with Dash Command. I Use an ELM Kobra WiFi transmitter and I am using my iPhone 6s Plus. I have looked high and low for these numbers and hopefully it will save some hassle regarding these numbers. Under vehicle, choose vehicle, choose information, choose advanced settings.
Fuel Tank: 19 gallons Brake Specific Fuel Consumption: .45 (Recommended by dash command) Volumetric Efficiency: 85% MAF PID: Leave blank (unless aftermarket) MAP PID: Leave blank (Unless aftermarket) Lambda (Actual) PID: Leave blank (Unless known) Lambda (Commanded) PID: Leave blank (Unless known) Tire size specifications: 285/35R19 (Use own tire size/Fronts) Final Drive Ratios: Axle Ratio: 3.692 1st Gear: 3.794 2nd Gear: 2.324 3rd Gear: 1.624 4th Gear: 1.271 5th Gear: 1 6th Gear: .794 7th Gear: Leave blank Curb weight: 3300lb Additional Weight: 180lb (Use body weight and any additional weight added to car on a continuous basis. i.e.. subwoofer, dynomat, any additional weight carried on a consistent basis. Drag coefficients: .29 Frontal Area: 21.41 Ft2 Maximum Engine Speed: 7500 RPM (Max redline) Minimum Engine Speed: 650 (Idle, No A/C turned on) Shift Point: 3000 (Personal preference. This marks the recommended shift points in the shift tab. This is tailored on how you drive. Economy use a lower setting, Performance, Use a higher setting. The shift portion has some delay when used, so you can use it to save gas or to increase performance.) I hope this helps many of you in regards to the setting of your 2009-2010 Nismo with Dash Command. |
I know this thread is a little old but thanks for posting this info. I use dash command a lot. It’s great but I wish it was able to show transmission oil temp though. It’s great otherwise.
Anyway, I think one part of your post may be incorrect. Axle ratio and Final Drive Ratio are two different things. I believe the axle ratio on the Nismo is 3.91 not 3.692, which is the Final Drive Ratio. Thanks again for the info. |

Rusty, do you know what year they switched from 3.692 to 3.91? I have looked up the ratios for my 14 Nismo and the final drive ratio is 3.692, but was under the impression that axle ratio and final drive ratio are two separate things. I remember a long time ago doing the math to figure out which rear to get for an old Camaro I had which required dividing the axle ratio by some number to come up with the final drive ratio. Like I said, that was a long time ago so I may be wrong.

When they switched to the new bumpers is when they changed the axle ratio's.
Most people use either axle ratio or final drive ratio the describe the ring and pinion. Talk to them one time and they will use axle ratio. Next it's final drive to describe the same thing. Some use the term final drive as the mix of ring and pinion and tire diameter too. Depends on switch side the fence you are on. |
Got it. Thanks for the reply. I'll stick with the 3.692 then that the OP posted.

You are correct. There are two versions of the 2010 Nismo. And from what I read and translated, they are both the same thing. Only issue is my gas is mileage is off somewhat so not sure what numbers need to be entered so my mileage matches my digital gauge in the car.
