washing Engine bAY?

washing Engine bay? good idea? if so, how to go about it?

See if Junkman2008 has a video on that.

All I do is an occasional wipe down with a damp rag. Too much finicky electrical stuff in there for me to be comfortable hosing it down.

I usually drive my Z into the local lake and just get the engine bay soaked. A quick squirt of dish soap and rinse off and you are good to go. :roflpuke2:
On a serious note OP, you have a new car, why would you want to wash the engine bay? SouthArk370Z's answer is perfect for now.

I have hosed my engine down before. I grocery bag electrical stuff or plastic film wrap them, then hose it down.

Just wipe what you can see and reach.
