HELP! Code PO106

Hey guys!

My service engine soon light came on so I took it to Pep Boys and they pulled the code for free. The code was PO106 MAP/BARO. Also when I start my car, it sometimes dies. Feels like there is no rev to it. That has only happened a few times though. I have a 2010 Z with about 55,000 miles on it, With a stillen gen 3 intake. I'm taking it too the dealership this week. I wanted to know if that SES light is related to my stillen intake and if I can still drive daily until I take it too the dealership. I've had that intake for close to a year now. I have extended warranty from Carmax, and they'd cover all of it unless it's because of the aftermarket intake. Any help or suggestions? I'd really appreciate it.

I delt with this as well.

Disconnect the sensor and have your tuner turn the code off. Reconnect it when you need to pass emissions.

I noticed no change in gas mileage. Throttle response actually improved.

I didn't buy the Z for environmentally friendly reasons.

I'd try a few things before I let the dealership get their hands on it.

Check for intake vacuum leaks. Going by what I've read, this is the most common cause of P0106.

Check the connector and wiring going to the sensor.

Pull the sensor and clean it (plus the hole where it screws in).

FSM will have test procedures, R&R procedures, wiring diagrams, etc.

Thanks guys! I did clean it and no effect. I took it too the dealership today, hopefully they don't blame my stillen CAI. :(

I've gotten this code twice now. It seems to be intermittent. The first time was after driving the car harder than usual :driving: . It popped up the next morning when I turned it on. I cleared the code and it didn't come back till maybe 6 months later (yesterday) after I got some gas from a sunoco that I've never gotten gas from before and I was also driving it a little hard through some hills and twisties. Cleared the code again and so far hasn't returned. My car is 100% stock with 84k miles. The only two things that I see in common between both times was hard driving and hot weather.
