Ebay turbo!!

I know eBay turbo kits are junk and by no means am I getting one.. I'm a nitrous guy but I'm sitting here watching football browsing and researching and was wondering let say someone buys a complete eBay tt kit but they buy good quality turbos and Intercooler to replace the eBay ones.. what's the possibility of that actually being successful lol like I said I'm not doing it just curious of the outcome.

Most likely the plumbing is all universal and wont fit so you replace those with quality parts. Then your exhaust manifolds crack or dont line up and you replace those. And then your wastegate fails and blows your ride.

dont do it. yes i know you mentioned your not planning on going the ebay turbo route but if you thought about it, browsed that section in ebay, then opened a new thread in here then all signs point to the fact you are planning on doing it or atleast thinking about it.

dont do it. go boosted performance single turbo. i believe he even has a sale on the 1.5 version of the kits at around $5k approx.check out the boosted performance thread or pm him

I have a buddy that put one on his 89 Supra (1JZ). It was surprisingly good, but the turbo broke within the year. He kept all the same plumbing and just threw a borgwarner turbo on it (not sure if the intercooler was upgraded or not). It's held up pretty well.

In all honesty I was just curious. I'm still under warranty and unless it's a quality kit i.e. Bp kit which is what I've been trying to find a website to check out but I guess I'll look for the thread then I'm not going fi. Thanks for the bp info tho

I don't have a website, but you can find a lot of information out by going through some customers builds, or in the F.I section of this forum. There is also a FB page, and of course, you can always contact me directly for any questions you may have.
