WTB: Torque

Earlier this year I had the car on a Dynojet for a few runs (manual, K&N drop-ins, Bassani catback, untuned)and it put down 290whp/238wtq.But I just recently saw a video of a 7AT Z with Ebay short rams, Z1 test pipes and an HKS catback (also untuned) put down 300whp/276wtq on a different Dynojet.

I don't understand how there can be a difference of 40 wtq and 10 whp between cars. They're both Pre-2012, and the 7AT has 4K more miles. Is one reading wrong and the other close? I'm looking to get Berk resonated test pipes in the future, which will undoubtedly help but am still not sure how there can be that big of a difference.

Anyone else see a discrepancy like this before? Is this just the result of a bad reading?

I wouldn't read too much into dyno numbers unless the runs were done on the same day and same dyno.

There are a lot factors, but the 300hp/276tq doesn't sound like a very accurate number. The torque number seems awful high for the HP rating.
I've got a K&N Typhoon intakes, Borla exhaust and a lightweight flywheel and mine dyno'd at 312HP/260TQ. 6MT tuned.
Pre-tune, mine was about 293/247, which is pretty close to your numbers.

Yea,don't sweat it,the biggest discrepancy is most likely between the two dyno machines and not the cars.
