MT Oil Change Interval

I know the service manual says to replace the MT oil at 30,000 miles, but when is everybody actually doing it? My car has about 18,500 on it, but it's a 2010. I'm planning to have it done with the 20,000 mile service. I'm curious to see what the old oil looks like...

I like to make the first lube change rather early. Engine, trans, rear end, whatever. The initial break-in period will produce metal shavings and other crud. 20k is a little late in my book (IIRC, I did the first change on my AT and differential at about 12k) but shouldn't do any appreciable damage.

I do mine at 15k. Probably overkill, but fluids are cheap.

Do one at break-in and then follow the manual. I know the tittle says MT but the 7AT is suppose to be "lifetime". (Putting this info here because some people will definitely ask)

Thanks for the replies, I'm going to get it done @ 20K service...
