Energy Suspension Differential Bushings Review

No matter how you stack them, they're wrong. :gtfo2:

The image shows the stock front differential bushing next to the energy bushing. The stock bushing has 2 extra spacers and a washer under it. The bushing flange should be the same length as the stock one without the 2 spacers and washer.

Don't buy these unless you want to have to modify them.

Also, burn off the plastic and reuse the hub for the rear. Never saw this before... Threw it in the gas grill and it came off. Then left the grill on for an hour to make sure the only residue is carbon. (probably a stupid way to do it but it worked really well)

These are after I took a hacksaw to them and belt sanded them smooth. Not sure if I'm going to use the cut-off bit or trim the metal bushing until I have the assembly installed.

Those parts do work unmodified in a 370z diff. I have those exact parts in mine with zero issues.

I've had these exact diff bushings in my G37 for well over a year now with no issues.

Got mine out on the street last night. The bushings feel fine so as far as performance goes, I'd say they're right where they should be stiffness wise. No extra noise. Haven't had them on long enough to form a wheel hop opinion yet. I would recommend you go in there and fix yours (shave them down) as you are probably working your u-joints more than you need to. Your car, your call.

I checked pinion angle before and after on mine. Didn't have any significant variance. In my set of bushings the metal sleeve from energy matched length to the oem sleeve in those bushings.
