Who gone the FARTHEST with the OEM CSC?

Hey gang, we've all heard how quickly the OEM CSC can die, but who's gone the farthest?

I'll start: 20,000 miles. (yay me)

90 ST I believe his was at 135k

RumbleFish 03-25-2016 06:47 PM

38k+ here...I did do the GTR clutch fluid swap out.

MagmaRed370z 03-25-2016 06:56 PM

90ST with more than 100k I believe which is pretty rare....

pokeyl 03-25-2016 08:22 PM

65K stock CSC and clutch assy

King_Ch1cas 03-26-2016 04:02 AM

Yeah, but you shouldn't bank on it. IMO what kills it quickest is jamming th clutch pedal to the floor

cv129 03-27-2016 03:20 PM

39k miles and counting.

I think so too, I've always been moderate with the clutch pedal while driving the Z.

B&W_Evader 03-28-2016 09:33 AM

If that's true mine should last forever... I adjusted the clutch engagement closer to the floor in the first 5k miles. It is impossible for mine to get jammed like you're saying. 55k so for. Keeping my fingers crossed. If it goes I might end up doing some major upgrades while I'm in there and that will be another pile of cash.

It really depends. Its a ticking bomb. There are guys here that bought some 2016 Nismos and the CSC went out in less than <5k Miles.

theDreamer 03-28-2016 11:58 AM

85k miles (70k miles boosted) with stock CSC/Clutch/Flywheel

ban25 03-29-2016 03:55 PM

I went 50k miles before replacing the CSC as a preventative measure as part of a larger clutch job.

With boost, that is freakin' impressive!

Halfkiddio 03-31-2016 03:35 PM

96k on the original CSC, but with a new OEM clutch plate and pressure plate at 68k right before I purchased it. I also have about 4-5k miles of driving purely on the 11 mile section of the Tail of the Dragon.

hooey_b 04-02-2016 03:18 PM

143k and some change before mine failed bout 2 months ago...running the z1 csc elimination kit, and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it.

ARrado15 04-08-2016 03:37 AM

At 96k miles and mines on its last leg. Already ordered the new HD CSC, as well as clutch flywheel and master cylinder... Just hope it last the week it takes for them all to be delivered!

Patrickz34 04-09-2016 02:57 AM

**** you guys got me scared :D I'm @ 86k and it still hasnt given out on me. I dont use the clutch assist spring and rarely ever press the clutch all the way down as the engagement point is very small.
I know I need to get it as it's gonna be a HUGE PITA if it gives out on me while driving but something tells me its not gonna go out anytime soon. I know I'm taking a huge risk lol

synolimit 04-09-2016 02:28 PM

Depends what you do. A grandma prob forever, a track guy, prob real soon.
