Exhaust setup - Tuning question
hello, I have a 2011 370z nismo #278... I was thinking about getting the car tuned this summer with orisis uprev, my goal for the tune is to be a bit more peppier throttle wise and such. Ive had my 350z tuned with similar modifications and it's such a blast to drive... so here is where my question comes in... I have two different exhaust setups;
mods that will not change stock intake (drop in filters will be added), Kinetix HFC, stock Nismo exhaust with resonator deleted.. first one: quiet/ most normal stock intake (either K&N or drop in filters will be added), Kinetix HFC, stock Nismo exhaust with resonator deleted and stock muffler Startup:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxz0FJJMCYw Revs:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSoI5nuDEK0 2nd one: damn loud stock intake (drop in filters will be added), Kinetix HFC, stock Nismo exhaust with resonator deleted and AAM Burn titanium Short tails (fancy way for muffler delete) startup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w35oQzCyOa4 Drive By:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z92uCfYiDRA Will I be seeing a huge difference with the 2nd setup compared for the first one, or will they be relatively the same?? (with the Canadian dollar in the crapper, I wont be able to pickup any mods until it comes back up) Please dont reccomend me to buy a new exhaust or anything of the sorts! any input will be greatly appreciated!!!!! |
Difference in volume will be huge, difference in power will be moderate to small for NA mods. HFCs are good but I still think that's the biggest restriction you will have in that setup. Also ECUtek is a bit more up to date with features the, uprev not that uprev is bad, just not as good.
