rebuilding a trans

So my 5th and 6th gear synchros are done and it seems the trans doesn't need much but a good clutch and gear oil but is it better to rebuild at this point? I want to preferably upgrade everything for future F.I but there isn't really much out there. Getting a new transmission would be a good solution but it seems the work and money spent would be double when I can just upgrade whatever I need to replace and more with this trans. I just been reading and everyone just upgrades the clutch/changes gear oil even when going F.I. Is it really not worth it to build our trans? Anyone out there do racing synchros or something more durable than OEM?

Just to have an idea my goal is to get a more durable trans with better and quicker transactions in shifting for high performance street car. I'm not gonna have a lot of power just something durable/quicker/smoother.

Currently I have a B&M short shifter( which helps) ACT street clutch, pressure plate, RJM pedal but even with all the upgrades it's still a pretty bad trans.

thanks,
Chachi

By the lack of responses, I'm guessing no. I'd love upgraded synchros too. I know Ford makes them.
