Didn't you hypothesize that all the break in occurs in the first 20 minutes?? :bowrofl:
I don't think anyone has proved that synthetic is "bad" one way or the other, given the number of high end cars that are factory filled with Syn juice. That, and the fact that crosshatching can often be seen on high mileage cylinder bores would leave the whole break-in theory in question.

Yes, but this is for the benefit of others. And, I said a high percentage occurs within the first 20 minutes.

Dealerships are full of liars, thieves and retards. I hate all car dealerships. I dropped my oil at 105 miles, and replaced it w/Mobil 1 from Wal*MarX for my first 250, 500 and 1,000 mark break-in miles. After that went to Amsoil. Nissan esther oil is a f%^#g gimmick.

Rotary Engines

Rotary engines are SPECIFICALLY designed to use conventional oil... They need conventional because it burns much easier and can lubricate the rotor seals better...

no rotaries aren't designed to use conventional, the just have to because they couldn't get them to work with synthetic
