Hard getting Into first and reverse

Hey so I just installed my southbend clutch and flywheel
I drove the car for 500 miles easy. And then some spirited driving. I feel like it's hard to get into first and reverse sometimes. Any reason why? All the help will help thanks.

Its a common problem with this transmission, try changing oil in it to redline brand, check for the right weight in your manual. This brand of oil is what am using now be4 i had same problem, also heavy shiftknob is also recommended, it helps the gears slide in smoother.

Mean time when you shift to first or reverse i found that shifting to 2nd, or 3rd, right be4 u shift to 1st or revese helped alling syncronos and makes gears go in easier.

I've just had this same problem, do you have an RJM clutch pedal installed?

The solution for me was the shop setting the pedal to 0, bleeding and flushing the sytem with motul fluid and then readjusting the pedal.

if you don't have the RJM pedal installed it probably just needs a bleed and flush with some redline or motul

edit: I see you're in long island. If the problem persists Hit up RAD and tell them randy sent you, they'll take care of this really quickly for you.

I'm not sure what an rjm clutch pedal is. But ok I guess I'll check out rad. I have motul in there now. Suggest redline?
