11 lbs Battery Install
http://www.the370z.com/members/pokey...150507-002.jpg
Install this 3 weeks ago and it has not been started in 5 days. Turned right over today. I will push it to 2 weeks if I can. |

no no P's... he means that since it's a small battery with concern of losing its charge it's impressive that even though it wasn't started in 5 days that it STILL started up. Hmmm makes me think of maybe wanting one for weight savings in the future.

Looks like I've had mine 1 year and 10 months. Zero issues :) not bad for $59. It's sat a lot. All last winter on a trickle charger and winter before it'd do days also without starting.

:wtf2: My bad. Please continue :icon17: |
Last summer I travelled for work a lot, and usually left it on trickle charger. Around 5-6 days I would have issues if not left on charger, but besides that, it works great!

Same as Deka that you can get anywhere for about $60. |
Ok, so that clip missing is intentional. LOL I thought I lost mine.. Never mind..

Old thread but battery mount update the old mount was a piece of packing material. This is foam core project board. super light and strong.

I ran a lightweight battery for a couple years in my 350Z. Biggest lesson I learned was ALWAYS double check to make sure you didn't leave a dome light on or something stupid. That, or have one of those mobile power packs to jump your car, just in case.

Just a fyi, 2 years, no issues here with mine.
|
any recommended light battery for daily use?

I have no issues either. Durlast from autozone $59 11lbs

Me too...in the desert you are doing good if you get more than two years out of a battery. The heat kills them.

How much weight are we saving from the regular size battery with this little one?

Proper 11-lb Li Battery Replacement
If you want an equivalent 11-lb battery using Lithium technology, looks like this one would be more appropriate for the Z - same size and power as OEM:
