So I bought the 2015 Base model 370z AT. As we know it didn't come with paddle shifters. Is there any where I can buy an OEM kit (wiring, brackets,etc)? Thanks in advanced. Sorry if I did not post in the right thread.

So why didnt you get the model with paddles?

Well money and I really liked the wheels of the base over the other models

I'm sure it's possible but will cost a lot of money, probably would be better off buying sport model and selling the wheels for a set of base ones.

Not worth it for what it would cost.

It would have been smarter to get the model with the paddle shifters if that's what you wanted. It's much easier to trade for the base wheels - people sell them pretty cheap on the forum.

Not sure anyone has added paddle shifters to a base AT without them. You might be paving the way if that's what you really want. And I'm sure it will cost far more than the difference between the models :ugh2:

The FSM (see link in my sig) may give you an idea of what parts are needed. As others have said, probably cost-prohibitive but you never know what the monkey ate until he has shat.

Jo you need to first see if your steering column is prewired for the paddle shifters, if so it should be possible just have to get all the new parts including better paddles, here's a link for installing paddle shifters onto a non equipped g37.

Thanks guys. I mean its not a big problem if it costs a bunch of money. I'd rather honestly have OEM then go for a universal kit

Same reasoning for me. I went with the base over the sport model mainly because of the wheels, but also because I love the way the back end looks without the spoiler they put on the sport model.

The only thing I did like about the sport (aside from the upgraded sound system) was the upgraded (and red) brakes. I decided to paint my calipers to get that look.

Congrats on the new car. Using the manual mode without the paddle shifters is just as fun, as long as you feel comfortable driving with one hand :driving:

Brand new difference is $4000 so I don't see that being in that range if I try to do what I'm doing
