Oh thank god, I am not the only one.

I just got my 09 base model 6 speed MT. I have never felt more noobish driving a manual before. It takes some time getting use too. It's letting off the clutch kills me. I'm use to the engagement point being way at the top. It feels like it's 80% from the top. I'm still getting it down but honestly I'm gonna shorten out the clutch cable and set the clutch peddle up to where I don't have to push too far down (closer to the floor) and change the spring...

I only have my SRM on when I'm messing around. I drive 99% of the time with it off. I find it easier to heel-toe when I depress the break pedal with the part between the ball of my toes and arch. It's just easier to sidestep for some reason.

Bad, the 370z's clutch does not use a cable to operate the CSC. It's all hydraulic lines. You can undo the locking nut on the master and spin the rod to shorten it some.

Just did that yesterday. I'm shocked at the difference. Now I'm just waiting for something to fall off as I am driving hahaha
