I wish i could source out synchros also.... my G is currently stuck in 5th gear awaiting the replacement transmission.... this sucks...

There is a old thread on here somewhere about a guy replacing his syncro. Another alternative is talking to john shepard, but last i spoke with him he said it would cost quite a bit since our transmission aren't in demand

Never been a reason to find out. I don't know of anyone that has grenaded on yet. Only problem is the syncros.

I actually just checked Z1 and it looks like they don't offer any discount for SRM vs Non-SRM manual transmissions. And the price is right at $2K. But Courtesy Nissan has it listed for <$1700 here. I can't seem to find an option to check fitment for the Sport trim, so I would assume that link is for a MT without SRM.

I will admit I haven't bothered to look for over two years when I put the turbo on.

I already bought an used transmission and going to sell my thrashed transmission to the person I bought it from for a fraction of the cost. I wished we had a stronger demand to fix our transmissions though. My boys wished I had a Honda platform instead of a Nissan platform lol.
