GTM Performance Engineering: MHI Twin Turbo Kit Official Release
We are proud to introduce our new line of Twin Turbo Kits for the 370Z based on the venerable Mitsubishi Heavy Industry turbocharger line up. These turbos are water cooled and oil lubricated journal bearing turbos with a great track record of reliability, performance and value. Available with our kits are three different turbo options: 16g (600hp), 18g (700hp), and 20g (900hp). All three turbo options cost the same. Since the VQ37VHR is such a great engine, the 16g and 18g options are great for stock motor builds while the 20g is the way to go for built engine, high horsepower setups.
Since this kit was designed to be as unobtrusive as possible, it is the only turbo kit that retains the factory crash bar. Also, there are no permanent modifications that have to be done to the car to install and run this kit successfully with outstanding performance. In addition, the engine can remain in the vehicle for installation. As usual, we offer our kits in two basic forms: Turn-Key and Tuner. Our Turn-Key kits come with our GTM Spec ECU flash and upgraded fuel system components. These kits are designed to deliver a complete package that can be installed on a car and perform flawlessly out of the box. Our Tuner Kit, on the other hand is a complete kit that gives the end user the freedom to choose whatever engine management and fuel system components they prefer. Below are the components included in our Turn-Key Kit.
Below are the components included with our Tuner Kit with Internal Wastegates:
Below are the components included with our Tuner Kit with External Wastegates:

Im very interested. Great freakn prices.
Im looking at putting 2500-3000 down on the Tuner kit w/External Wastegates. How would i go about finding out how much a monthly payment would be on the kit i stated with 3000 down using the 2nd financing option? You can PM as well. Thanks! |
Holy #@%*!?#&%^#!!! My expectations have been surpassed... Have your cake, eat it too, and make payments. CG's, and Nix, you are one lucky SOB lol.

90% in on a group buy! Couple ??
1. Internal vs external waste gate? Plan on running 10 psi max, which is recommended? 2. Turn key kit? Injector sizes and brand? Include plug n play clips/harnesses? No external waste gate option for turn key kit? 3. What power levels should I expect on 8psi and 10psi boost for 16g and 20g turbos? Dynojet #s 4. 16g (600hp)? Is this flywheel hp or whp? It sounds like fly hp. Please confirm. That's it for now. Great prices! |
Totally in for group buy also but same first 3 questions as above and wondering what production/delivery dates look like.
Also, do the install procedures for these kits differ from the previous Garret-based kits: do you have to drill/tap the block for the manifolds? does ease of installation justify pulling the motor to install or do you install this with the motor in? |

2) The Turn-Key Kit will come with Bosch EV14 650cc/min injectors with plug and play harnesses. We can add an external wastegate option for the Turn-Key kit. 3) As for dynojet numbers for the 16g and 20g setups, we will be doing testing on a car with 16g's soon. To really show what the 20g's can do, it would require a built motor. 4) That is flywheel horsepower. Quote:
No drilling and tapping of the engine is required with this new kit. Also, since we're supplying an oil pan, there is no drilling and tapping of the factory upper oil pan either. As for pulling the motor, we keep the engine in the car for in house installs since the benefits of pulling the motor do not outweigh the extra time required to pull the motor in the first place. |
Group Buy Thread started here: http://www.the370z.com/group-buys/68...ml#post2227665
First post updated as well. Sam |
We've had a few PM's regarding getting a credit for already having an Uprev cable and license while purchasing our Turn-Key kit. We are offering a $200 credit on the Turn-Key kit if you already have a license and cable but still want a tune from us as well as the associated support.

We'll be calling you tomorrow ;)

Good news everybody!
By popular request, we are offering a third option to our financing programs. We are proud to introduce our layaway plan so people have another way to purchase our products. This will be a third option for people that want to pay for the kit over the course of a year without paying any interest. The biggest advantage of this offering is the ability to lock in the group buy price with the layaway plan. Even though you can pay off the kit over the course of a year, it will be for the group buy price as opposed to full retail. So, let’s say that we reach Tier 3 pricing, you will need to put 30% down to lock in the price and may take up to a year to pay off the kit. Any plans for tier 4? |
Just want to share with everyone, some of the production parts for the kit. Here is a picture of the new intercooler that will be included in the MHI kit. We are always getting asked for the release date. Rest assured that we are working very hard to ensure that we have all our ducks in a row so we can make this go as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
