Do these affect ground clearance vs stock at all?

RCZ 03-15-2009 09:56 PM

Looks like it sits a little lower, but GTM should be able to answer if they ever come back :)

How would you guys comapre your tru dual campared to Stillen's at the same price?

B1nks 04-21-2009 07:47 PM

for starters GTM > Stillen because theirs is an actual true dual exhaust..no Y pipe.
I found this Youtube clip of GTM tuning it on the dyno. Could GTM please say what type of dyno it was tuned on ? Wish this was only a grand !

If only we could get a true exhaust sound clip instead of the two dyno clips.........I'm ready to spend money......until then the wait for Greddy i guess cause it would be an automatic buy

According to Stillen, theirs is a true dual and from the pics it does appear that way. So, why would you spend the extra $200 for this one when you end up with the same results?

crbn_fbr 04-25-2009 12:46 PM

Stillen has more of a Y in the pipe, this has an X. I'm no expert but from what I understand the X design is the freeist flowing method. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong...

This all depends on what you are using as the definition of a "true dual."

::wondering why GTM never bothered to come back to this thread to answer questions or post more info::

rreign 04-25-2009 03:59 PM

So moving the section of the "Y" like a foot further back makes an "X" which makes it more free flowing......

Just doesn't make sense to me. Can someone elaborate?
