Installed stillen gen 3 intake. Followed other DIYs felt pretty good about install. Started car and it idled really rough then died. Tried it again and idled really rough then died. any ideas, has anyone had this happen to them?

did u disconnect the battery before installing it? if not.. try pulling the negative terminal on the battery off for like 15 mins or so to reset your ecu... also make sure you install the maf sensors correctly.. recheck the hoses and harnesses too... hope this helps

LOL yeah after an idiot check it turns out I left an air hose disconnected from the throttle body.

I dropped a screw from the engine cover that sits on top of the intake plenum into the valley of the V6. So I disconnected the throttle bodies from the plenum so I could remove the plenum and retrieve the screw. When I put the intake plenum back on and connected the throttle bodies I left the air hose that connects to the under side of the passenger side throttle body. As soon as I connected that hose the engine started purring like a kitty.

Should I try installing the 34 row oil cooler now...probably should leave that to more capable hands :tiphat:
