FIXED :)

It was what I suspected; the blade connector backed out of the relay socket. I knew the first connector was too small; it barely stayed in the socket. Although I was hoping it would stay in. I was too lazy the first time to go buy a bigger connector but I bought one today and installed. I had to trim the bigger connector a little...lets see how long this one stays in. Everything works as before.

To Kabestro: I used 18 gauge hook up wire. IIRC, the OEM wire is also 18 gauge.

I'm having a bit of a hard time telling what is going on with the red and beige wires from the picture. They are pulled from the IPDM, combined, and then just ran to that extra relay port? the bundle of wires seems to be blocking the view. Attached a picture as I'm thinking of it. Thanks!

update. Yes. That is what's required. Just completed.

From what Ive read, the DRLs turn on when you turn on the car. You wont have to lower the ebrake anymore for them to turn on. And they stay on with the headlights.

They stay on all the time unless you're in ACC or obviously off. In the "on" position (engine off) they are also on.

Bright as fck with the highbeams on

Thank you. I just did this mod on my 13'. Most difficult part was removing the fuse box (IPDM, I hate acronyms). Had to use a right angle flat bar to pry the fuse box out of the metal bracket. Very difficult to remove. A picture of a spade clip would have helped me.
The socket it plugs into did not lign up with the plastic holding it. A little persuasion with a couple of screw drivers did the trick. I love the way it looks, wanted to do this since I got the car. steve

I was just about to ask you guys to post a pic of the connector that you guys are using. Is it completely flat or do the ones with a U shape work also?

I removed the relay to the right of where you plug in the wire to see the size of the termimal. About 1/4 to 5/16 wide flat spade. Sorry I don't have one to measure.

Can you connect it to any of those four ports? Or does it have to be the one in the top right corner?
Also how do you get this cover off?
