REQUEST: How to take apart side markers

I know how to remove the side markers but I'm having a difficult time opening them up to get to the LEDs. I've searched forums here and all over the web but I can't find anything demonstrating how this is done. Any ideas?

You may want to contact Member DIGItonium

I know there's no bulb, But an LED inside

I know I saw a thread somewhere But I can't seem to find it :(

Yea, I've got the LEDs already but I can't seem to get this thing open to solder them onto the board. I opened it up with a dremel (I saw someone post a picture of it separated like that) Attachment 70977

But there's a screw in the center of the side marker and that's what I can't get to. I'm not sure how someone was able to do it without destroying the entire side marker. Thanks for the tip about DIGItonium. I'll message him.

I've figured out how to do this on my own, so I'll post up a DIY here shortly.

This was digi's post nearly 5 years ago on that:

Replacing the LEDs is easy. The part with the dremel is the painful part... you literally have to "destroy" it.
