Ah! I stand corrected and see what you mean now. Regardless, you'll need to tale the cap off closest to the engine with due care (use a rag to prevent scathing). You'll want to take the reservoir cap off too to drain the old coolant that's pooled in there. At least on the 2010 model year, only two 10mm bolts hold it in place, and you can tilt the tank to dump the fluid.

So when I burp it I leave the cap off and the funnel in the hole closer to the engine correct?

Correct. Burping the system is actually as simple as squeezing the large hoses that connect to the radiator to the engine by hand. You can hear the gargle as fluid is pushed through and also see the fluid go down at the cap.

so if you do this method do you still have to turn the heater on full blast while the engine is running as what was mentioned in the video?

Yes to ensure it cycles throughout the block.

Just replaced my radiator a few months ago. You need to leave the radiator cap off initially. Also make sure the thermostat opens as it will most likely need a little more coolant once it does.

If you need a cheap funnel just cut the top off a 2 L bottle. Fits the fill neck perfect on our cars.

how do you make the thermostat open?

Start the car and let it run. Keep an eye on the coolant in the filler neck. Once the thermostat opens you should see a change in the coolant level.

Will my NA Z see a benefit from these hoses?

Nope, although silicone will last a lot longer than rubber. And you want to buy them from Z1 or Samco. Mishimoto is the lowest level of Chinese garbage you can put on your car.
