Mask it off carefully and you wouldn't need to remove it.

The same for the front bumper

My 350z should be the same as the 370z for bolt/clip placement
There's a bolt inside the rear fender, 2 bolts underneath near the mufflers linking to the body, pop off the little black tabs next to the taillight when the trunk is open and unscrew those then there is like 5 plastic clips behind the portion above the license plate inlet, also clips that slide in the bracktes attached to the bumper....just pull
MAKE sure to painters tape off your rear quarter panels before taking off!

Lastly to be 100 percent sure you have all bolts go to courtesy nissan parts and print out the sheet that breaks out ALL parts for the rear... This will give you an idea on where ALL bolts-clips are

I did mine on my 350z and it was fairly easy to do

Its PITA to remove it, you have to remove the rear interior panel pieces, and the two tail lights, then unclip all the snap in clips. I think some behind the fender liner too. Then she comes right out.

Better just tape it off if all your doing it painting the valence.

Or just get the carbon fiber pieces and dont worry about overspray or masking off all sorts of parts...

It isnt that bad pulling the rear bumper off but for what you are doing its a little over the top to pull the rear off for....
