Flashing "Fog" Light

I was following a Mini Cooper the other day and when they hit their brakes, their 3rd brake light flashed a few times and then went solid like a normal brake light.

I was wondering if we could wire our rear fog lamp to do this? I've read the DIYs and see that people have made it flash when going in reverse, but I would rather it act like a "4th" brake light and flash a few times when I hit the brakes.

Pretty cool?

i have the evo r brake light that flashes when you hit the brakes but it does not go solid after a while only flashes then is solid when driving. I can tell a big difference in the way people following me they seem to back off more and at night it really grabs their attention. I feel now that there is less of a risk of someone not paying attention to run one up my tail LOL. I am very protective of my rear! Well worth the piece of mind.

Where did you get this kit from; seems exactly what I would want. Any videos of this? Was it a difficult install?

I got it from EVO R a forum sponser on here. it is also available here The Z Store! Nissan-Datsun 240Z-260Z-280Z-280ZX-300ZX(Z31/Z32)-350Z-370Z Parts: EVO-R Rear Fog Flashing LED Kit, 09-12 370Z Hook up was not too difficult but is easier if you remove the rear bumper.

I watched the two videos that they had on their websites and I don't want it to flash continuously; that would get annoying for the people behind me at a stop light to see that non-stop flash.

I'm sure it is just some type of relay... should def be doable... emergency vehicles in my area have them.

Yeah I wonder how they did it. I would not want to sit behind someone with a continuous red flashing light.

Blinking Smart Stop - Flashing Brake Light

Splice one of these in between your brake light wire and the fog light wire.

I have the factory fog light from "thenismoshop". I will also purchase the blinking module from Khatec. Now,as far as wiring goes. Can someone explain to me how I should do it?
I want the fog light to blink a few times then stay on when I step on my brakes.
I have told I can make the factory light blink like the EVO R fog light. I already have the Z1 Long harness,I bought it just incase I needed it.
Thanks for the help.
