Oil change question crush washer

Question for you guys here. What is your experience without changing the crush washer when doing an oil change. I have had many hondas before and could get away with a few changes before switching the washer. How is your experience with this? I just got my z and in desperate need of an oil change and if I cannot get this done sunday it will be another week or so until I am free. your thoughts. thanks!

I don't see an issue as so long as you don't crank down on the drainbolt making the re use of the crush washer usless. Most recommend changing as a safety precaution and its up to each ones choice to be safe or take a chance that it'll leak.

The crush washers are a standard NAPA parts store part. A whole box of 12 cost next to nothing.
