Tools you Need:
*a Needle(or a pin)

You are so racist.

Gonna paint mine black! Awesome!

I never thought to do this. Now I'm coming up with all kinds of reasons why I should do it:
My Z is white
It would help me distinguish the Z fob from the Mazda
Its going to snow another whole s-load of snow on Friday, and I have some time to kill
My Z is white
It will probably only cost me $175 (the cost of a new fob once I screw up the first one)
None of my friends have a white fob (none of my friends have a Z, either)

repped you for the great idea and nice DIY!

Go for it. A new fob is only $86, you only have to swap the covers if you screw up, not reprogram.

That's pretty neat!

What type of paint did you use? I fear mine would get chipped and such...

_TERROR_ 03-31-2011 04:04 PM

Id also like to know what kind of paint to use.

I will probably be doing this over the weekend. I keep thinking about it whenever I look at my fob.

What did you use to reattach the Nissan/Z Logo?

id recommend using a vinyl dye if you have access. they sell it at most hardware/auto parts store. comes in a spray paint can and just dyes the plastic instead of putting a coat of paint, therefore it doesnt scratch off
