Steering wheel

Okay guys, noobie here.
Got a base 370Z and I can't quite get comfortable steering wheel wise. I need the wheel about 1 inch closer to me.If I move the seat that much closer my foot is too heavy on the gas pedal. Is there anything I can do to move the wheel back just a little without upsetting the VDC and stuff. It's for cruising the highway where it's long term riding and the reach I have to make now gives me cramps in the hand.

How's your seat back set? Can you sit up a little straighter?

Seat back helps with the grip but then I'm too straight up and wind up with back ache. Tried all sorts of seat positions and they help short term but I'm trying to find one setting where I can ride for a while.
