Air bag code 1 long 5 short ?

Having problems with the airbag light staying on. Followed the procedure outlined on this forum. (great help !) I am getting 1 long followed by 5 short blinks of the airbag light. The service manual says this is the "Occupational classification system control unit". I assume this is the sensor in the seat bottom going bag. Can anyone verify that this is what that description means ?

Has anyone tried the unit they sell for about $90 that bypasses the seat sensor and leaves the airbag on all the time ? This seems like the best solution since the seat bottoms are ridiculously expensive.

Any input would be appreciated.

If you're talking about the occupany sensor from Airbag360 then yes, it works great. I use it on my Juke passenger seat
