Electrical Reset

My Z has an unusual problem. When I am driving with the A/C on and I go over 6,000 rpm the A/C condenser does not turn back on and I have to reset it by restarting the car. This is normal, Car and Driver did a write up of this in 2010 explaining the car tries to put all the power to the drive train above a certain RPM. What is not normal is it not reengaging the A/C condenser and the air getting stale and warm 2 miles later. I have taken it to the dealer and they had no clue but were willing to replace my ECU to see if it would fix it, Very expensive.

Recently I was driving in a snow storm and spun out on the highway. The safety gizmos kicked in an saved me from going off the road. My dash stayed lit up, the ABS, Traction control, and the Power Slide traction lights all stayed lit up until I could restart the car.

I believe the same thing that prevented those from automatically resetting prevents my A/C from kicking back on in the summer.

Any ideas?

Thanks

I am thinking that I have a disconnected wire or a bad relay but I have no idea where to look.

Wiring diagrams, connector pinouts, physical locations of electrical parts, etc are in the FSM. Link in my sig.

Nicoclub crashed a few days ago...The FSMs are no longer on the site and there is no ETA for them to return. :(

Sorry about that. Maybe someone has a copy that they will share with you.
