7AT Trans + Oil Coolers

I'm looking to get both Oil and Trans coolers for 7AT on my 2012 G37x Sedan. I will be supercharging in the next month hopefully, and I'm wondering what coolers people have had good experience with. Also, which ones will fit with the a2a intercooler in topgunz ACE kit.

Oil coolers. FI or Z1 34 rows. The Z1 has AN -10 lines. The FI has AN-8 lines plus it fits the oem cooler easier.

Couldn't tell you about the tranny cooler.

I'm not seeing anything for a G37 specific oil cooler from Fast Intentions, only 370z. Should I give the guys at FI an email asking if it is compatible?

Edit: Do I want a Thermostatic Adapter?

Send them an email. And yes you want the thermostatic plate.

Well I heard back from Kevin at FI and he pretty much said they've never done it before and aren't positive. So looks like its gonna be Z1 for the oil and 7AT trans coolers. Anyone know anything about the Mishimoto coolers? How many rows will i need for 7AT? And do I want a Mocal or Setrab core?

Stay away from Mishishitymoto. They don't have the best quality. There is a couple of threads on them.

I'd stay away from ShittyMoto lol. I think Setrab cores are your best bet, be prepared to have some fab work done to make a bulletproof fitting for the transmission hard line.

I initially tried just using some AN fittings and hose clamps to make something work there, that didn't last long.

I was gonna do 34 for engine & the 25-row for trans....pretty sure that’s what FI put on their A/T twin turbo installations
But if you have room for 34 on both...wouldn’t hurt :ugh2:

I had a 19 row trans, N/A and was feeling like the trans was overheating near the end of 20 minute track sessions. (slower, less consistent shifts)
Upgraded it to a 25 row and it's been good since.
I'd definitely do 25 or 34 row if F/I.

So can I just order two Z1 oil coolers? The regular oil coolers work on the trans? Doesn’t need to be the Stillen trans cooler right

Correct :tiphat:

Any boosted guys have any experience running a 34 row oil and 25 row for 7AT? I mean, Stillen's 7AT cooler looks like a 25 row, but I haven't heard the greatest things about Stillen. But it would be nice not having to drop $1400 on coolers. Also, I would like to run some catch cans for when I'm supercharged. Any good recommendations on that?
