DIY install Sprint Booster

To install a Sprint Booster all you need is a very small flathead screwdriver, good lighting and a 10mm ratchet. Leave the door open for 5 min to avoid CEL. The hidden bolts are under the plate at the bottom of the pedal. It looks like a solid metal plate but it is not, there us a small plastic cap covering two bolts in the center of the plate, hence the tiny flathead to pry it off. When the two bolts are out push the pedal forward and it be loose, it is just plug and play after that. Plug in the cord first, that is the end that goes to the firewall plug, but plug the pedal end in before the firewall end to make it easier. Just push the cord under the panel pieces to hide it and keep it away from your feet, then put the button where you like. It took me 15 min to find the hidden bolt cover, and only 5 min to install. That is why I made the post, to save others the frustration. Don't worry about the light staying on after turning the car off, it takes about 5 min for the power to disapate.

I keep mine in green, it makes the car feel 500 lbs lighter. I have had my 370Z for over a year, and for the first time I find myself taking the long way home to enjoy the machine, the way I do on my motorcycle. It is the most smiles per gallon mod so far. I did order a Fast Intentions cat back with high flow cats, but that is not getting here until November. So hopefully there will be even more smiles in the future.

If you have never tried one, please don't slam those who have. I know it doesn't lower 0-60 times and all that... Just as Stainless steel brake lines don't make you stop any faster, or a nicely weighted short shifter doesn't make you faster. I have purchased all these things and feel they are worth every penny.
