I'd be very cautious of solvents if you haven't had experience with them before. It can be very easy to eat through your clear coat without the right reduction or application methods. If you go the solvent route, try it first on an inconspicuous area to see how it reacts with clear coat.

No dent luckily
i would try scratch-x first. it's a mild polish and will clean any haze you might have from the scuffage. if that doesnt take it off i use either my plastic razor blade or a flat end of a wooden disposable chopstick to shear majority of the transfer off first, then clay/scratch-x.

works for after running over wet striping paint on asphalt too. :D haha.

Meguires Scratch X removed the paint! However, now the scratch looks gray, but it is not as noticable as white paint. Thanks for the heads up!

gray? :icon08: did you go too deep through your clear coat? hope you didnt use a terry cloth or some cotton towel to apply. it generates heat and some times burns right through the clear if you press hard enough with virtually any polish.

No, only where the white paint was, looks like the person door paint went through the paint, so if you look at the picture where the white paint is, just imagine only the white paint part, gray.

I used the orange edgeless microfiber towel recommended by junkman

Aww Bummer dude. I once had coffee splashed on my Z parked quite aways from everyone in a Wally world parking lot..hate haters! But I do hope you find a solution.

Look into the v32 product by the chemical guys, the 4 oz sample pack is more then enough. it removed three scuffs, two off the door one on the mirror and cleared up my yellowing headlights. Couldn't be more satisfied with the product, however, I have no experience with paint.
