No, that's not me, it's Larry Kosilla from ammonyc.com. His videos are fun to watch and very informative from someone deep in the detailing business who works on many rare and expensive vehicles.

All I know I use at least two towels on my windshield. One for application, and a fresh one to get the streaks.

After watching the Junkman vids all weekend, I'm 'appalled' (amazed) at how he kept his products on the hood of the Bentley. Notice how the foam pad is hook side down on the hood. I also cringed when the razor blade tool was placed on the towel/hood. One good gust of wind and that sucka' would bounce all the way down the front of the hood.

Great vid otherwise. What glass polisher was he using?
mishuko and Datsun Z like this.

I'm not sure, but I'm willing to bet the glass polish was Griot's Garage. They make an aggresive one and a fine version. I also got their hydrophobic glass sealant (like rain-x) and it works well so far. The water just sheets right off and visibility is very nice.

Very interesting and informative. A lot more work than I'd be willing to go to on a regular basis but I've bookmarked this for the next "Spring cleaning" I do. I suppose he knows what he's talking about but taking a razor blade to a windshield like that just doesn't seem like a good idea to me and I won't be doing it. Claying glass was something I had never thought of - I'll have to try that.
