2013 Nissan 370Z-Cquartz Tampa, FL
I have always had a place in my heart for Z cars after owning a ’90 Twin Turbo myself at one time. The owner purchased the car wanted to have the paint corrected and coated due to the fact that the car sits outside 24/7 in the Florida sun.
The car was first foamed and washed with chemical guys citrus wash. Then Iron X’ed, clayed, and given a final wash with maxi studs. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...ps810f335e.jpg The paint had all the usual suspects swirls, RIDS, and buffer trails. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...ps64bf07d8.jpg http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...ps1f26052e.jpg http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...psf5173e9b.jpg http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...ps6ea49768.jpg Correction was carried out by car pro fixer compound and buff and shine microfiber pads. Finishing was done with carpro reflect and LC tangerine pads. Some heavier swirled areas I used Meguiar’s DA correction compound with a dash of 105. All in all I was able to remove about 80-85% of defects without getting to aggressive. The car was pulled outside to check my work before applying the Cquartz UK http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...ps37e1d655.jpg http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...psf8b76053.jpg http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...ps9109ab88.jpg 2 coats of Cquartz UK was then applied along with the wheels and calipers being opti coated and the headlights and taillights corrected and opti lens applied. Carpro PERL was applied to the tires. http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...psacd06594.jpg http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...ps3fa4b192.jpg [IMG]http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...g?t=1404591371 http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...g?t=1404591515 http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...g?t=1404678041 http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...g?t=1404591993 http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...g?t=1404592161 http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...g?t=1404592263 http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...g?t=1404592480 thank you |
You did a good job. Believe me or not, My Z haven't been washed since March. I have been living an insanely busy life. But it's all about to change. I'm allocating a good 12-16 hour full paint correction. Happy and exhausted just thinking of it. Last time it took 18 hours but Z came out better than new! thanks to Monterey Blue color.

For a moment I had to double check and make sure I wasn't on AGonline. Nice job on the correction.
