Not since I bought the master blaster, and watched the Junkmans videos. Junkman, if you took my previous post as disrespectful it wasn't meant that way. I've learned ALOT from watching your vids and I definitely appreciate the free education. Keep 'em coming!

Hell no man, I didn't take it that way whatsoever. Don't even sweat it. I hope I didn't appear that thinned-skinned being a Marine and all! :tiphat:

No, I have never used a cloth, and detail spray on any of my cars.

Then the next most probable culprit will be your wash technique and your wash medium.

Good Lord glad you still posting, I am still viewing and reviewing your basic orange and yellow pad M205 videos.

I am on a bunch of different forums, I'm probably spread too thin but I eventually get around to all of them. :tiphat:

What helps tremendously is as stated, how you wash (touch) your car. Another is a garage/carport. A garage helps tremendously in keeping your paint in good shape. Keeping it out of the weather/environment helps extend the time on when you need to do corrective actions.

All solid advice, following along. I just got a 2014 pearl white Z, and fortunately, it did not come with the best dealer option around - swirls. I will opticoat it and put a clear bra on it before taking it out though. How is the 370Z paint quality overall? I am coming from a 2013 Wrx, pearl white, and man, you even look at that car, it gets paint chips on the front end, drove me nuts.

Generally, Nissan's paint tends to be on the soft side. The "quality" isn't bad, but it's not going to hold up well in real-world conditions.

Opti-coat and a clear bra will solve 99% of your environmental problems.

yah my 10yr old G looks brand new still besides the very tiny chips i got on the front bumper and rockers. could've prevented those with clearbra.

but i cant see them from a few feet away so i dont care. nissan paint isn't as bad as people say. most just dont know how to care for it. (or just defective from factory).
