Day off= Detailing the Z

Two Bucket wash w/ Meguiar's Gold Class Wash
Clay Bar w/ Mother's Detail spray
Menzerna Intense Polish (IP 2000) w/ Yellow Pad by DA Porter Cable
Menzerna Power Finish (PF 2500) w/ Orange Pad by DA Porter Cable
Clearkote Red Moose Machine Glaze w/ White Pad by DA Porter Cable
Victoria Deep Cleaner Wax by Hand
Meguiar's Ultimate Liquid Wax by Hand

We picked up the car and I haven't had a chance to really inspect the car's paint. (Weather) Luckily today I was able to see all the swirls and scratches.

The swirls and scratches that I specifically remembered disappeared by the time I used Menzerna Power Finish. However, I failed to bring out better light source in the garage and I didn't completely annihilate all of the micro scratches.

Since I didn't dig in my garage for a while, I forgot that I ran out of Victoria Concours Red Wax. I suppose the Meguia'rs Ultimate Liquid Wax should suffice for now.

I ran out of sunlight to take better pictures but I will update tomorrow!

I like.....But they better be good quality microfibers you're using.........

question- what was the goal behind using the cleaner wax after the clearkote red moose? isn't the red moose a carnauba?

also, I thought the meguiar's liquid wax was a sealant, which may not bond so well to the carnauba left behind from the cleaning wax process

the car came out looking great, just hoping the product stays on rather than having paint adherence issues

Currently I'm using the microfibers I got from my Porter Cable Package. Not going to lie, a few of my microfibers weren't taken care of so I was a bit paranoid to use them.

Red Moose from my understanding is a silicone and wax free machine glaze. However I used the Victoria Deep Cleanse because I was planning on using Victoria Red Concours Wax. This combination in the end makes the paint look infinitely deep. Unfortunately it has been a while since I detailed a car and I forgot that I none left.

I'm using a Porter Cable. It works very well for me, I haven't needed something that potentially cuts more yet.
