Advice on snow removal

Just got a brand new nismo a day before a blizzard, i live in condo with no garage, and had no time to purchase a car cover. Whats best way to remove snow without messing up paint?

Snow on the glass - scrape very carefully
Snow on the body - I would do nothing

Are you planning to drive it? Or let it sit during the winter season?

Plan a nice cold, dry day to get it to a self car wash, get the ice and snow off before you cover it up if you are not driving it.

Let Mother Nature handle it.

If it's not a DD, wait for the next thaw. Dry well and cover it up.

If it's a DD, carefully remove what you can without touching the paint and then go to a car wash and use warm water to remove the rest. Dry well and cover it up.

If you don't have a cover, a good coat of wax will help with future snow/ice removal.

Like Falcon said, watch it melt... unless you're a swirl collector.

i use this on my dd, but i wouldnt use it on my Z... my Z hibernates winters anyways.

the good is that ive not noticed long swirl lines caused by this thing.

another kind of tangent tip for ice on glass. i carry washer fluid in a spray bottle from inside the house to melt ice off the glass and washer nozzles. if the air is dry enough (which usually is in sub 0F temps) the ice will melt, then evaporate.
