Prima Hydro. it's a spray type polymer sealant. use it while you wipe your car after a wash. you can use it on paint, seals, glass, plastics, wheels, etc. will not turn white and last at least 3-4wks.

detailersdomain sells by the gallon, so does amazon. check it out. it's a must have for dd's imho. liquid and paste wax is old news.

I got the whole line as a kit with my Porter Cable. I've got nothing bad to say about any of it.

I've been using this since 2004. I recommend it.

Best for me and has always been is Meguiars. i use the NXT generation Wax.

Best way to get the most out of your wax is to:

Wash your car with Meguiars car wash soap.

Than clay bar the car with Meguiars NXT clay bar kit

End with the NXT wax and it will go on really easy and it will buff out in seconds. Your car will look like a jewel. Plus your you can slide across the hood and fly right off. It is so slippery!!

I was introduced to griots garage about 5 yrs ago and it is the best stuff i have ever used. It is on the expensive side but the Z deserves that treatment. The guy is a ledgend, when i went to the opening day of his new shop in tacoma, wa. He had race cars from the 60's and on that the paint job was so good most brand new cars couldnt touch it. I also went to a car show in socal and my car looked better than 90% of the cars that were show car only. Very good stuff.

the part i really like about griot's is that they really do make it fun in the garage. not just their detailing stuff, hand tools, carts, etc.

I used to use NXT, Zymol and Mother's Gold Class. All were ok.

I then switched to and have been really happy with Sonax Polymer Netshield.

It really brings out the pearl in the paint quite well. Plus the water beading is incredible. On top of that, it takes half the time to apply since I don't have to wait for it to dry and haze over. I can do the whole car in about 35 mins.

Water sheeting effect is great too, to the point that if I don't wash the car for 3-4 weeks then just leave it in the rain for 30 mins it comes out almost perfectly clean. And driving in the rain doesn't leave the car nearly as dirty. For the first 3-4 weeks after application water sheets off so quickly it takes the dirt with it. From 4-8 weeks a quick rinse with just water does the job.

I tend to reapply every 8 weeks or so since it's so easy and have been very happy with the results.

It's about $30 a can but one can has lasted me 4 coats on the Z, 1 coat on a BMW 650, and prob enough left for another 2 or 3 coats on the Z.

One other thing: It leaves my Matte Black Volks looking PERFECT. Best thing I've found to leave them with the right finish, not too shiny or dull.

Sonax makes good stuff. I like their wheel cleaner. Zymol is overrated. I'd go NXT myself, at this point.

Curious about the Prima stuff though, will have to check those out.

i dont recommend Prima clarity on windsheild. makes your wipers bounce. :shakes head:

i use griots window cleaner and glass MF towel for glass.

which reminds me, i have a fikken gallon of clarity still. :ugh:
