Wax First or Glaze First

I'm doing my annual Z hand waxing. Does the glaze go on before or after the new wax---or does it really matter?

Glaze after washing, clay before polishing or glazing, waxing or sealing is the last step. Check out autogeek's website to get you into the ultimate car care mode, the detailing section on this site is good too! :tiphat:

Might want to check out Autopia too. They have a ton of great detailing information and terrific forums.

Wash, clay if necessary, polish if necessary, Glaze, Wax.

Glaze is old school. It's loaded with fillers and only lasts a few weeks. Polish your clear coat properly, then use wax or sealant.

Glaze then wax. Glazes offer no real longevity unless they are topped with a wax, which will also amplify the shine and depth the glaze gives.
