Junkman's Wheel & Tire Maintenance Regimen

Just like the title says, here's how the Junkman maintains his wheels. This is also how the Junkman reacts when a hot chick rolls past the garage.... :D

Hi Junkman,

You are very meticulous about maintaining your wheels and tires; do you give wheel well maintenance any attention? Alternatively, is wheel well maintenance an afterthought or a waste of time?

Thank you in advance,

spryor

Yes, wheel well maintenance is very important. As a matter of fact, I usually jack up my car so that the wheels hang down, which allows me to get my hands all the way up inside the wheel wells. I show this on my new DVD that I have coming out. Ain't nothing like some muddy or dirty wheel wells to make some nice wheels look like crap.

When and where can I purchase your new DVD video?

You have to be subscribed to my You Tube channel to find out when it will be released. I will announce it there.

Gilmour Foamaster Cleaning Gun

Hi Junkman,

I watched some of your past video lectures and notice that you use a Gilmour Foamaster Gun to wash your vehicle. At least what I think is the Gilmour version. Or it maybe a custom branded model. However, I notice Gilmour sells versions 1 (model number 75QGF4) and 2 (model number 95QGFMR).

Which of these models do you prefer? And what capacity size do you use?

In my opinion, the Foamaster 2 appears to be built with less quality materials, due to its mostly plastic design. On the contrary, the Foamaster 1 contains more brass and metal materials for what I think makes a more durable and long lasting design.

Your thoughts?

Thank you in advance,

spryor
P.S. What brand and model of microfiber cloths do you use?

You need to watch the videos in my sticky at the top of this forum, especially the one titled, "How The Junkman Removes Bird Dropings and Love Bugs." Within all those videos, you will find the answers to your questions.

Hi Junkman,

I watched "How The Junkman Removes Bird Droppings and Love Bugs" video and it starts right about 21 minutes and 31 seconds where you begin to discuss the Gilmour foam gun and again at the conclusion around 55 minutes and 8 seconds.

Overall, this was a good video lecture.

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
