Any way to fix this paint blemish without repainting

Hi guys,

looking at a 370z. It seems to have a clearcoat issue in the picture. Can something like this be easily fixed? I know its hard to tell form one pic, but any experiences or thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks guys.

DEpointfive0, thanks for the offer! I havent bought this car yet but looking at it very carefully. I will definitely let you know if I purchase it. I will be in Nor Cal but come down to SoCal pretty often.

looks like bird crap etching? if it's under the clearcoat can't really do anything.

as noted above, i suggest you have a detailer take a look. if you're on socal try here...talk to richard:

Sorry about being tardy to the party, hopefully I'm not too late. From the picture, it appears to be early signs of clear coat failure.

As mentioned though, could possibly be some etching from a bird bomb that wasn't immediately removed. If this is the case, it can be remedied with clay barring/polishing most likely. Worst case scenario, some wet sanding will take care of it.

If it is indeed early clear coat failure, I'd avoid the purchase unless you can use it as a bargaining chip as that panel will likely need re-sprayed.
