Winter waxing question
So, I recently purchased a new Jeep Grand Cherokee and haven't been able to wax it yet. Being in Canada temps are already below 0 (under 30 for those in the US).
I'm worried about salt but I'm also worried about not being able to give it a good wash before waxing it and then waxing it in such cold weather. Advice? Edit: also wanted to note. The obviouse thing would be to do it in the Garage. It JUST fits. I wouldn't have the space unfortunately :( |
Do you mean actual wax or sealant? I don't think either will be easy to apply and is probably not recommended by the manufacturers in below zero temps.
I just washed my car today at a wash bay with the pressure washer. I take my own buckets and soap etc. and just use the bay for their water and a dry place to work. I suggest you just do that on a regular basis until it warms up to at least 10C. Spray under the Jeep too to rinse salt residue off. My $.02. :tiphat: |
