Hit my truck

Well to amkea long story short, hit my truck when I was leaving for work one day. Was able to use compound and get most of the marks off, just have one gouge and a small spot left. Went to two different shops, one wanted just over $1,300 to remove the bumper and paint it, other shop was $500. Would it be worth trying to shop around more for cheaper, or is that seem about right? DIY fix possible, in everyone's opinion?

Sorry to hear that. What kind of truck you have? I think $1200 maybe too much but $500 seem to little. Don't want to go to cheap and not having it done right y'know. But anyway, good luck!

 And such a price difference from the two quotes I would def go with the one charging 500, since that is almost a 800 discount.

that looks like a pretty deep gouge tho, I think doing it yourself would take some time GL! :tiphat:

removing the bumper is doable on your own. $500-750 sounds about right for repair and re-spray.
