Will clay Baring ur car cause micro scratches on ur paint? Also what can i use to apply wax to the car without making micro scratches on the surfaces?

Absolutely. Every time you touch your car with anything, you cause micro-scratches. You can minimize them by using good quality wax with a good quality microfiber applicator, but you'll still get them.

Clay bar? If you've washed it first with a standard two-bucket wash and used a good quality wash mitt, you'll likely have only some micro-marring from the clay bar process.

If you're concerned about holograms, micro-scratching, or swirls in your clear coat, you need a Porter-Cable polisher.

It really depends on your technique, but for the most part, using a clay bar properly shouldn't leave any visible scratches/swirls. The surface should be as clean as possible and you must keep the clay lubricated. The key is to keep the clay bar clean. If you drop it or it touches a dirty surface (anything will debris/sand/large dirt particles/etc), you will need a new piece of clay. Polishing is the only way to 'remove' swirls. It's basically like using finer & finer sand paper to smooth out the clear coat. The thing is, our clear coat is pretty 'soft' compared to others out there and swirls are a bit harder to prevent. It makes polishing easier, but you only have so much clear coat to work with.

Swirls/micro scratches usually happens when you wash & dry your car. Dirty wash mit or cheap microfiber towel is like taking a fine grit sandpaper to the surface of your car. Spend a bit more for the better material. There are plenty of threads on the proper technique on here.

A clean applicator shouldn't cause swirls at all. Check out Detailers Domain or Adam's for foam applicators. If you're using a good quality wax, it shouldn't require any pressure when you're applying the wax. Also, use a soft quality microfiber towel to take the wax off or all your work will be for nothing.
