In between clay bar and waxing

Hi I'm going to be:
washing
claying
sealent/waxing - Megauir's Ultimate Wax

I have a 2010 PG 370z it has light scratches and swirls but is mostly garage kept. If you could do one step between claying and waxing what would it be?
I have my buddy helping but am applying everything by hand and am leaning towards

PS21 Gloss Enhancing Paint Cleaner
Klasse AIO
Blackfire Gloss Enhancing Polish
Pinnacle Paintwork Cleansing Lotion.

Which one will do the best job of cleaning and filling in scratches? I'm guessing Pinnacle.

For scratches and swirls, your best bet is to use a porter cable or flex buffer...on previous cars and Tue z I haven't had any success with hand application.

+1 on the porter cable w/ a good polishing product/scratch-swirl remover....many different types. I feel this is one of the most important parts to establishing a good foundation for waxing-sealing.

Adams polishes has some good quality products at very practical prices. The porter cable however will Polly cost atleast $200? For a good one. Take your time polishing and then wax it,show car finish!

I've always been a big fan of Malta, they make a top of the line rotary for about $150.

I bought the porter cable kit from Adams. Best purchase I ever made for car detailing.

I have a question, let's say you have no experience with a porter cable before, is there anyway you can harm the paint not doing it correctly, maybe burn the clearcoat or something?

No thats the beauty of the porter cable. It's designed for people with no experience. If you search the detail section Junkman has some video demonstrating this.

Adams

Swirl Remover coupled with Adams Polish removes swirls by hand. Make sure you have Meguires Ultimate Detailer also handy. This WORKS!!!

Hand application will not do the job on scratches and swirls. As stated above you can't miss with a PC. It will be the best investment you can make.

I chose Pinnacle Paintworks Paint Cleanser. Yeah if I had a PC I'd want to polish it but it can still wait a year. For now I'll do: Wash - Magic clay - Paint cleaner - 2 coats of Megauirs Ulitmate Wax.

I disagree
