Anyone have luck getting Dr Color Chip to stick to the bumper? That's where mot of my rock chips are. Can primer be used first?

I always wanted to know how to touch up the pearl white as its more involved.

dr colorchip works. If you take your time and follow the directions, the results are very nice. I'm pretty sure if I apply some more coats, I can get it close to being flush with the original paint. Our sticks on the bumper too

You can use a non pearl (white) paint for base and then use the OEM paint as a top coat to color match because the pearl paints are transparent and need either a base coat or many layers. The paint code can help you to find out what you need exactly.

Will Dr Color Chip work for this repair? I sort of rubbed the garage when parking a few weeks ago.

Note: I used rubbing compound to get almost all the scuffs off. Just the black areas remain at this point where there is no paint.

Ouch...I dont think Dr. Colorchip will solve this. It would cost as much in buying enough Dr. Colorchip kits as it would to find a good body shop to repaint it I am thinking.

At least you showed that garage wall/door frame who's boss. :owned:

Yeah, I showed the garage a thing or two. This is what happens when you're parking and your lady walks right across the front of your car without letting you know.

Next time I won't hit the garage.

I may just try my hand at touch up paint for now. I work 40 miles from my house so the freeway is putting some good rock chips on my bumper. I figure in a year or so I can get the whole thing repainted when there is no more paint left. :shakes head:
