Default Foam Gun

I bought a Gilmour foam gun from Amazon for approx $40 a few weeks ago and just wanted to share my positive experience. It has a huge resovoir and a half dozen settings for foam distribution. Also this model has all brass connections (the other one has plastic). Great investment for the money. Only issue is the thick foam can eat a lot of soap but I think it is worth it.

I don't have a Gilmour, but one that's something like it. After the first use, I started thinning my soap down to about a 2 water-to-1 soap concentration. The first wash, I used 100% soap and I was like

I'm looking into getting a foam gun for my Z and was wondering if anyone has any other ones that they recommend. If you could provide the brand and cost and where you bought it from it would be helpful for me to decide on which one I should get.

The foam gun that the OP has is the Gilmour Foamaster 75QGF4 (the original). Amazon and Autogeek.net both have them with Amazon being the cheaper of the two.

To the OP, the metering is what makes that gun so nice. You can go through some soap or dial it back on the fly.
